The Southwestern Commission Area Agency on Aging is honored to once again provide the region with EMBRACING AGING: A Senior Resource Guide for the Southwestern Mountains of N.C. This guide connects older adults and their caregivers to resources within our region in an easy-to-navigate format. The articles and information—along with simply knowing whom to call and where to go for more help—can benefit all of us as we engage in opportunities and prepare for challenges in the future.
We strongly believe and promote the idea that aging should be embraced. Aging is simply a transformation into the next stage of life and should not be seen in a negative light.
