The Southwestern Rural Planning Organization (RPO) is seeking public input on proposed amendments to the 2015 Graham County Comprehensive Transportation Plan (CTP). The original CTP and the proposed amendments are available for review online and hard copies are available at the Southwestern Commission office (125 Bonnie Lane, Sylva NC) or the Graham County Administration office at (196 Knight Street, Robbinsville NC).
Comments should be sent to Rose Bauguess by November 25, 2019, via email, phone, or mail ([email protected], 828-586-1962, 125 Bonnie Lane, Sylva NC 28779). Public comments will also be received at the Southwestern RPO Transportation Advisory Committee meeting to be held on November 25, 2019, at 5:00 pm in Cherokee, where the RPO will consider endorsing the Graham County CTP amendment.
The Graham County CTP amendments will also be considered for adoption by the Graham County Board of Commissioners, the Towns of Robbinsville, Fontana Dam, and Lake Santeetlah, and the NCDOT Board of Transportation. Public comments are welcomed at all board meetings.
