Senior Celebration is a day set aside to honor older adults in the seven westernmost counties of North Carolina. The Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians’ Tsali Manor led this effort for 25 years, and this year, agencies that support older adults in each county across the region have joined together to revive the event. It will be held on September 7th, 2018, at the Ramsey Center on the campus of Western Carolina University.
